SANITIFOAM Occipital Support
SANITIFOAM® OCCIPITAL SUPPORT is an assistive device for the Prevention of Pressure Ulcers. It is intended for patients at medium-high risk of developing a Pressure Ulcer in occipital area due to immobility situation. It is also intended for Operation Theatre where patients spend periods of time in supine or lateral position.
The new Visco-Suspended System allows SANITIFOAM® OCCIPITAL SUPPORT to provide an outstanding pressure relief. This system works on base of flexibility of viscoelastic foam and due to the different hardness of both foams used in this product. This system creates a suspended area on which pressure peaks are distributed on a much wider area reducing pressure level and avoiding capillary occlusion. Visco-Suspended System is a new high performance tool on the Prevention of Pressure Ulcers.
Foam washing: Wash only when necessary. Washing temperature 30ºC to 60º C. Use very soft detergent. Do not spin - dry (centrigugation). Do only natural dry in horizontal position. It is recommended to machine wash into a fit net, to avoid deformation. Once it is dry it will recover its natural shape.
All foam uphold following certifications:

Exterior Cover: Green Bi-Elastic Polyurethane Cover (Elastic in both axes). The cover is waterproof, anti-allergenic, breathable, and antiacaruses. Disinfectable and Sterilizable. The cover is also certified as Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I textile.
Cover Washing Instructions: Max. 95ºC. Do not use bleach or derivates Do not iron. Do not dry clean For desinfecting and sterlizing instruction contact your distributor.
